On our, my wife and I, latest adventure to San Diego we had the chance to explore the Gas Lamp district which is filled with restaurants, cafes, specialty stores, old and new architecture.
We walked towards the convention center that meets the train station and a beautiful sailboat-like bridge, the Harbor Drive Pedestrian Bridge.
There were people crossing this bridge all the time. I had to wait in one spot for about 15 minutes to get this shot. I didn’t want to take multiple exposures and edit them in Photoshop. I wanted 1 original image with no people in it.
Turning this image to a true black and white gave this beautiful structure a much powerful statement.
