On the way from Yosemite National Park to Los Angeles, my wife and I decided to take highway 41. It was time for the sun to go lower and lower and eventually set so I was looking for the perfect moment and location while we drive down the winding mountainous road.

Time started to run out as the sun went lower. Every turnout or view point was hiding the open landscape with trees upon trees. We stopped countless times until we got to this one turnout on the road before the sunset.

What a thrill! 😉
