THE BEACH / La Jolla, California
What’s the first emotion you’re feeling when seeing this picture? Is it happiness? Is it sadness? Maybe love?
I know what I felt when I captured that moment, in La Jolla, California. I felt good, relaxed, amazed by the beauty in front of me.
This photo was taken during a day of adventures, driving from Los Angeles to San Diego along the coast. I usually go on fun endeavors, like that one, with my wife who has learned to be a little more patient thanks to my photography. In fact, she began taking more photos. Sometimes more than me.
The shoreline of La Jolla is about 2 hours from Hollywood, depending on traffic and your rout of course, and very close to San Diego. You can take the freeways or some other ways that make the drive longer. But more exciting.
This time it took us probably about 5 hours to get to San Diego because we made a lot of stops to see the surrounding and just enjoy our time.
One of those stops, as you can guess by now, was the village of La Jolla. What a wonderful place to visit. Other than the beautiful shoreline, the fun landscapes and architecture, the village itself is one of those artsy communities. It’s filled with galleries, restaurants and boutiques. Look at the inspiration they get every day, why won’t they be artistic?! Have you ever been to La Jolla?
